Three cookies.
That's it.

Most websites use 40+ cookies. Postkeet uses three — all strictly necessary for the app to work. No advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, no third-party pixels. If that sounds too simple to be true, the list below is the whole list.

"A cookie banner you have to click is a tool failing its user. We'd rather build a product that doesn't need your permission to exist."
— from the postkeet engineering blog, march 2024
the full list

Every cookie, every purpose.

If you disable all optional cookies, Postkeet still works — you'll just see the default theme on every visit.

what we deliberately don't use

The long list of absences.

Google Analytics
Not installed. We use a self-hosted, privacy-first analytics tool (Plausible) that stores zero personal data and uses no cookies at all.
Facebook Pixel
Not installed. We don't run retargeting ads on Meta properties. If you saw a Postkeet ad, it wasn't tracked back to this page.
Advertising cookies
None. We don't advertise — we grow through customer word-of-mouth and a weekly newsletter you have to opt into.
Third-party fingerprinting
None. We don't load FingerprintJS, device-fingerprint SDKs, or the many other "session replay" tools that record what you type.
Marketing automation
No HubSpot, Intercom, Mixpanel, Segment, Amplitude, Heap, PostHog, or similar cookies on our marketing site. None.
Cross-site tracking
We don't read or set cookies on domains outside postkeet.studio. Subdomains (app.postkeet.studio, etc.) share the session cookie so you don't need to log in twice.
your preferences

Flip the switch, right here.

Strictly necessary always on

Authentication + CSRF protection. Without these, you can't stay logged in or safely submit forms. These cannot be turned off.

Theme preference optional

Remembers whether you picked dark or light mode. Disabling this means you'll see the default theme every visit.

Analytics not used

We don't use analytics cookies. This row is here to confirm the setting, not to ask you to opt in.

Advertising & marketing not used

We don't run ads or load third-party marketing cookies. There's nothing to toggle.

Privacy isn't a
modal dialog.

It's a set of decisions made before you arrived. Ours are above. If anything feels off, we want to know.
