Most websites use 40+ cookies. Postkeet uses three — all strictly necessary for the app to work. No advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, no third-party pixels. If that sounds too simple to be true, the list below is the whole list.
"A cookie banner you have to click is a tool failing its user. We'd rather build a product that doesn't need your permission to exist."
If you disable all optional cookies, Postkeet still works — you'll just see the default theme on every visit.
Authentication + CSRF protection. Without these, you can't stay logged in or safely submit forms. These cannot be turned off.
Remembers whether you picked dark or light mode. Disabling this means you'll see the default theme every visit.
We don't use analytics cookies. This row is here to confirm the setting, not to ask you to opt in.
We don't run ads or load third-party marketing cookies. There's nothing to toggle.
If you don't trust our list and want a belt-and-suspenders approach — fair — every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. Here are the settings pages:
Blocking postkeet_session and postkeet_csrf will prevent you from logging in. Blocking postkeet_theme just resets the theme each visit. No other browser-level blocks affect our app.
We honor the Global Privacy Control header (GPC). If your browser sends it, we treat it as a clear opt-out signal for anything beyond strictly-necessary cookies — which in practice means nothing changes, because we don't run anything beyond strictly-necessary. But the signal is respected and logged.
If we ever add a new cookie — optional or otherwise — this page gets updated before the cookie ships to production. Account owners receive an email 14 days ahead. The full list of cookies shown above is the complete source of truth.
Email privacy@postkeet.studio. We respond within one business day. For broader privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion pages.
